    The Greater Baltimore Temple complex is a one story building that includes a prayer hall, deity chambers, puja rooms, library, office, reception area, shoe storage room, coat room, Priest room, kitchen for prasad preparation, warm-up kitchen and rest room facilities. The temple hall is approximately 3000 square feet and can accommodate about 250 devotees at a time. The adjacent Community Center and lobby are located on the south end of the building, on the same level. The community center is approximately 4800 square feet and can accommodate about 300 people. Plans exist for the expansion of the Community Center and construction of class rooms at the lower level. Onsite parking spaces can accommodate approximately 100 cars.

    The Murugan Temple of North America (MTNA) is the first temple dedicated to Lord Murugan (Karthikeya) in the United States.Conceived in the 1980's and opened in 1999, MTNA celebrates all Hindu and Tamil festivals, holidays, and special occasions. We follow the Saivite traditions of pujas, agamas and worship at our temple. In addition, the temple provides bhajans, Tamil, and religious classes, devotees from all over the Maryland, Washington, DC region, Virginia and the country visit this traditional Saivite Hindu Temple located in Lanham, MD. The main Sannidhi at MTNA is for Lord Murugan (Karttikeya).

    The Sri Siva Vishnu Temple, located in Lanham, Maryland is about 12 miles from Washington D.C. What started off as a very small idea, in the living rooms of a few devotees in the late seventies, has now blossomed into being one of the largest temples in the western hemisphere. The actual temple construction began in 1988 and has incorporated the Mayan, Pallava, Vijayanagara, Kerala and the South Canara styles of temple architecture. The Temple houses several Sannidhis with several deities which were consecrated between the years of 1990 and 2002. The last deity consecrated was in 2002, and they were all re-consecrated during the Jeernodharana Kumbhabhishekam in 2003.

    ISKCON of Washington DC, located in Potomac, opened its doors to the public in 1975. Our founder, Srila Prabhupada, visited in 1976. The main building, a beautiful temple, is home to a very special Deity of Krishna. It is ISKCON's first Krishna Deity in America. The Deity is called Madan Mohan, and is the center of the community here. ISKCON of DC sits on 12 acres of beautiful forested land. Along with the Temple, there is a Cultural Hall, and residential and guest facilities. A creek meanders through the property, where we grow flowers and vegetables and lovingly take care of our cows.
