Vedanta Society of New York - Vedanta Society of New York (VSNY) is affiliated with the Ramakrishna Order of India. In fact, VSNY is the Order's first Center started by Swami Vivekananda, in 1894. It was an historic event, for the seed of the world-wide Ramakrishna Movement was sown here in New York over a century ago. Swami Vivekananda was the first teacher of Vedanta to come to the West, who drew wide acclaim by his electrifying addresses at the World's Parliament of Religions held in Chicago in 1893. After the conclusion of the Parliament, a group of American students interested to learn more about Vedanta gathered about the Swami, and the first Vedanta Center in the West was started in New York City. Vedanta Society of New York bases its teachings on the System of Vedanta , especially as explained by Sri Ramakrishna (1836-1886) and his chief disciple Swami Vivekananda (1863-1902) and as demonstrated in their lives. The Society is one of the number of Vedanta Centers in the US, and is guided by Swamis (monks) of the Order, who serve as ministers.

Jain Center of America - The first wave of Jain immigrants from India to New York, USA occurred in the mid 1960's. In order to preserve and maintain their religious and cultural heritage, these early migrants started to informally meet in 1965 in the borough of Manhattan in various facilities, such as Columbia University, the Indian Consulate, Jain Meditation Center and other Secular Halls. From these initial stages, the Jain Center of America - New York (JCA) was the first Jain Center organized and registered in America in 1976. In its early formative years, the JCA NY Center had an organization, but no place to worship and practice their Jain religion. In 1981, the center purchased its first temple building in the borough of Queens, New York. In June 2005, the JCA NY celebrated its Pratishta Mahotsav in the newly constructed state of the art temple at 43-11 Ithaca St, Elmhurst, Queens, NY, replacing the original temple building acquired in 1981. The unique design of this complex is a shining example of Unity with Diversity for the Jain Community of New York. The JCA NY Center was awarded the very prestigious "Best Religious Building" award for 2005 in Queens, NY, a borough known as the "Mosaic Melting Pot of America".

Bharatiya Mandir - The purpose of the temple is to provide a facility to study, practice, disseminate and enlighten the public in the religious precepts of the Hindu Religion, and to aid people in finding the spiritual unity among all beings. We have named this temple the Bharatiya Mandir because many major deities of Hindu religion are enshrined within it. This is a place where anyone can come and worship their own deity, uplift their souls and achieve peace of mind. This is a place where one can meditate, sing God's glory and seek desired outcomes. Feeling overwhelmed by life's mundane pressures, we all come to the Lord's place to attain buoyancy, gain strength to deal with them and come out energized at a spiritual level. Our Mandir can be used for our multifarious activities. Monthly satsang, children's yaghyopaveet ceremony, Akhand Paath, Devi-ma's Jaagran, Indian language classes, Hath and Kriya yoga sessions, guest visitations for spiritual discourses and many more cultural activities are a few examples.
